Being Thankful

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with family and friends as much as I did.

I am so thankful and grateful for so much that I have in my life – firstly my family and friends (I just became a great aunt for the first time!).   I am so grateful for my good health, my passion and curiosity for so many things in my life – the outdoors, nature, music and dance, self-healing and ways to be healthy and happy.

I am really relishing my retirement from Medicine.   The good weather in mid to late September was a bonus which I used to the full.   I was joined by a friend to cycle the spectacular Myra Canyon portion of the Kettle Valley Railway trail near Kelowna.  We cycled a loop through the vineyards and tasted some wine as well.   Can’t leave wine tasting out of a visit to Kelowna.

The following week we made a trip to Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island and actually soaked up some sun on the beaches there.

This fall I am looking forward to a number of networking activities and other opportunities to share my message of healing.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Please read my thoughts and reflections about this event in my article and share your comments.
